"99% agreement"

Dear Fr. Bloom,

I wanted to say that I appreciate your sermon for Sunday.

You've probably gathered that Lutherans and others are offended by what the new document says about the church. Not that it's anything new, but many hoped that recent conversations might have made a difference in our "status."

But that's not my point. When I look at the whole document, I as a Lutheran, can agree with 99 percent of what I read. I wish more of us would notice how much of it we agree with, instead of the painful part we don't agree on.
