Announcements (September 9, 2007)

1. The two-bit collection is for our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your donations will help St. Vincent de Paul volunteers serve the needy in our own parish neighborhoods.

2.At the ends of the pews you will find nomination forms for the Pastoral Council. Please prayerfully consider who might be a good member for this important consultative body, fill out the form and place it in the collection, drop it off at the rectory or give directly to Fr. Bloom.

3. Next weekend will have the annual collection for Build Hope. The following weekend there will be one-time collection to support the Fulcrum Foundation. In today’s bulletin you can read more about Fulcrum and how it benefits our parish.

4. Holy Family School Principal Glen Lutz has good news about this year’s school enrollment, as well as information on the scholarship fund being established by the family of Al Pricco. Please see Mr. Lutz’ column for more information Principal Glen Lutz’ column for important information.

5. Catholic Scripture Study begins this Sunday. It is not too late to join this thirty-week study of the Book of Revelation. There are also classes on Wednesday morning and evening. We are also hoping to start a Teen & Young Adults Bible Study. The bulletin contains more information regarding Scripture Study.

6. This Friday evening Fr. James Reichmann will be in our parish for a celebration of the Mass according to the 1962 Missal of Blessed Pope John XXIII. All are welcome, but please read the bulletin regarding the manner of participation.

7. This Sunday after the morning Masses our parish Knights of Columbus will serve a delicious Pancake and French Toast Breakfast.

8. CCD – Religious Education Classes begin this Tuesday. In the bulletin you will find information about this and other parish activities, including R.C.I.A., 40 Days for Life and Baptism Classes. Be sure to take home a copy.
