Announcements (January 6, 2008)

1. Our two-bit collection is for the Randy Terlicker Fund. Your contribution will help provide tuition assistance so that lower income families can send their children to our parish school. Randy was a graduate of Holy Family School. He served as a fire fighter here in Seattle – and on January 5, 1995, Randy and three other fire fighters gave their lives in Pang Warehouse Fire. An Endowment Fund has been established in Randy’s memory. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

2. Confirmation classes begin this Wednesday. If you are sixteen years old – or will turn sixteen before June 1 – you are eligible for this important sacrament. Please see the bulletin for full details.

3. Our Knights invite you to reserve your tickets for the annual Crab Feed and Lovers Dance on January 26. You can find more information in the bulletin. Also next Sunday our Knights of Columbus will be serving the sausage, pancake and French toast breakfast. Plan on coming to the parish hall or the Tice Hall after the 8 a.m. or 11 a.m. Masses. Bring the whole family for this delicious and economical breakfast.

4. In the bulletin you will find information on the Catholic Scripture Study, which resumes this week. Also there are important announces regarding baptism classes, the Catholic College Fair, the annual March for Life and much more. Please be sure to take home a bulletin. Finally, we still have 2008 parish calendars, courtesy of Yarington’s Funeral Home. In addition to taking a calendar for your home, you may take a calendar to give to a family member or friend.
