Announcements (December 21, 2008)

1. Our second collection will go to the Mary Bloom Center. Your contributions will support the work of this medical clinic and education center that serves the needy in Peru. The Mary Bloom Center is named for Fr. Bloom's mom.

2. Our Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a Blood Drive this coming Saturday. In the bulletin you will find more information on how you can give the gift of life. Also you will see an announcement about the Annual Dungeness Crab Dinner and Dance on January 31.

3. Our children's Christmas Concert will take place on January 6 at 6 p.m., here in our church. All are welcome.

4. This Wednesday is Christmas Eve. Our Children's Choir will sing Christmas Carols in the church at 4:30, followed by the 5 p.m. Children's Mass. There will also be Christmas Eve Mass at 8 p.m. in English and 10 p.m. in Tagalog. On Christmas morning we will have English Mass at 10 a.m. and Mass in Filipino at 6 p.m. The full schedule of Masses is in the bulletin, including New Year's Eve bilingual Mass at 11 p.m. and English Mass on New Year's Day at 10 a.m. The Masses for next Sunday, Holy Family Sunday, are at normal times: English Masses 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 & 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.

5. The bulletin has important Stewardship information. We are making a special appeal for Year-End donations. Also we remind you that you may donate online by going to our parish website or using the link on Fr. Bloom's home page.

6. In Fr. Bloom's column you will find information on the Randy Terlicker Fund and the dedication of our new St. Michael's Chapel. The bulletin also has news about the January 20 March for Life, Baptism Preparation, Vocation Discernment and much more. Be sure to take home a bulletin and read it carefully.

7. Parish Calendars for 2009 are available at the church entrances. Please note that the calendars are bilingual - that is, English and Spanish. They are free, courtesy of the Associated Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Seattle.

1. La segunda colecta es para el Centro Mary Bloom. Sus contribuciones apoyarán esta clinca medica y centro educacional que sirve a los necesitados en Peru. El Centro Mary Bloom lleva el nombre de la mamá del Padre Felipe.

2. Los Caballeros de Colon les invitan a dar "el don de vida," es decir, dar sangre. La donacion de sangre será este sabado. Hay mas informacion en el boletin - tambien un aviso de la Cena de Cangrejo y Baile, patrocinado por los Caballeros de Colon.

3. El Concierto de Navidad se llevará a cabo el 6 de enero a las 6 p.m. aqui en el templo. Todos son bienvenidos.

4.Este miercoles es Noche Buena. Habrá misa en español a las 6:30 p.m. El dia de Navidad hay misa a las 12:30 p.m. Para el Año Nuevo hay misa bilingue a las 11 p.m. El boletin tiene el horario completo de misas

5. En el boletin hay un Mensaje del Padre Bloom sobre el Fondo Randy Terlicker y la Dedicacion de la Capilla de San Miguel. Ademas el boletin tiene noticias de preparacion pre-bautismal y pre-matrimonial y para quinceañeras. Favor de llevar el boletin para noticias en español e ingles.

6. Almanaque paroquiales son disponibles a las entradas. Favor de notar que son bilingues, es decire, español e ingles. Los calendarios son gratis, cortesia de los Cementerios Catolicos de la Arquidiocesis de Seattle.
