Announcements (April 1, 2007)

1. The two-bit collection this Sunday is for Deanery Prison Ministry. Along with other parishes in the South Seattle Deanery, Holy Family supports the ministry of prison chaplains at King County Jail. Your donations will enable us to continue our support for those who visit the imprisoned in our name.

2. The full schedule for Holy Week, including Holy Thursday Mass of the Last Supper, Good Friday Veneration of the Cross, Children’s Way of the Cross and Confessions can be found in today’s bulletin.

3. At the entrances of the church you will find instructions on how to say the Novena of Divine Mercy which begins on Good Friday and continues until the Sunday after Easter.

4. Next Saturday our church will be open for Condolences to the Blessed Mother and Confessions at the times mentioned in the bulletin. There will be no Saturday 5 p.m. Mass. You are invited to the great celebration of the Easter Vigil beginning at 8 p.m.

5. Principal Glen Lutz is recovering well from his surgery. Keep him in your prayers. Please also read his School News column which has information for school families and for parishioners in general.

6.The bloodmobile will be on site at Holy Family Parish on April 9, the Monday after next. Please call Bob Youngs whose number is in the bulletin to reserve a time to donate blood.
