Announcements (May 13, 2007)

1. Our two-bit collection today is for the Mary Bloom Center in Peru. Named for Fr. Bloom’s mother, the Mary Bloom Center aids needy children and their parents in an impoverished part of Peru. Thank you for your generosity.

2. Thank you also for your great response to the Annual Catholic Appeal. As of Wednesday, we had already received 373 pledge envelopes, which is twenty more than last year’s total! In the bulletin you will find a more complete report. If you have not yet filled out an envelope, you may take one from the pew and fill it out this week. We need the support of each one of you.

3. This Friday Crossroads Pro-Life Walkers will join our prayer vigil. We will leave from the Ailbe at 7:15 a.m. All are welcome to participate. Next Sunday there will be a Pizza and Salad Send-Off Party for the Crossroads Pro-Life Walkers from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Michael’s in Olympia. They will walk from Seattle to Washington, D.C.

4. Please come over to the hall after Mass for a delicious pancake, French toast and sausage breakfast, served by our Knights of Columbus. This is a great way to honor your mom on Mother’s Day.

5. Today’s bulletin contains information about families who need our prayers at this time. Also you will find news about the Bingo Night to benefit CYO – and much more. Please take home a bulletin and read it carefully.
