Announcements (September 10, 2006)

1. Our second collection is for Build Hope. Your donations will support the work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development and Catholic Communications. You may place the Build Hope envelope in this collection.

2. This month we begin Religious Education classes for children and the RCIA classes for adults interested in learning about the Catholic Church. Also this Tuesday we have the first of a two-part baptism class for parents and godparents of infants. You will find the times for these classes in today’s bulletin.

3. The school news contains information about the Innisbrook fundraiser, as well as an important letter from Principal Glen Lutz. Be sure to read it.

4. Catholic Scripture Study begins this week. You can choose between Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. The bulletin gives further information.

5.The bulletin also contains a flier on Pennies from Heaven. On the reverse side is information about the Catholic Evidence Guild 2006-2007 Lecture Series. Please take advantage to these events.

6. This Sunday our Knights of Columbus will serve a delicious pancake, French toast and sausage breakfast after the morning Masses. This is the first breakfast of the new school year. Don’t miss it. Next Sunday St. Martha’s Sodality will host an Open House after all Masses. This is an opportunity to see the new Tice Hall as well as the renovated gymnasium and parish hall.
