Announcements (October 5, 2003)

1. Our two-bit collection this Sunday is for special maintenance project. It will go toward the house demolition and cleaning up of our newly acquired lot.

2. Thank you to all who contributed last weekend toward the payment of our boiler debt. $1036 were given during our seven weekend Masses.

3.The Children's Choir is now singing at our 5 p.m. Saturday evening Mass. All school age children may participate. Please contact Pat Waite. Her number is in the bulletin.

4. Also we are forming an adult choir to sing for Christmas Midnight Mass - and the service of Lessons and Carols which will proceed that Mass. Please see the bulletin for rehearsal times and the phone number of Paul Grady.

5. This Sunday afternoon, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM. there will be Life Chains in Federal Way, Renton, Green Lake and other locations. Please see the bulletin board for full information.

6. Next Saturday evening, October 11, beginning at 6 p.m. we will have our first annual parish potluck dinner. Please see the blue flier in the bulletin for full information. All are welcome.

7. There will be a three day Men's Silent Retreat on the last weekend of October. Please see the bulletin board for more information and the registration form.

8. On October 31 we will have the drawaing for our parish raffle. If you did not receive a book of tickets in the mail, please notify the rectory. Tickets are available in the vestibule after Mass and in the rectory office during the week.

9. The next baptism classes will be on October 13 and 20. Please call Fr. Ramon to register.

10. Every Thursday evening we have RCIA classes for non-Catholics - and for Catholics who wish to learn more about our faith. Please call the parish office for more information.

11. Also we have a Bible Study/Rosary group on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. Please contact Joe Bruce whose number is in the bulletin.

12. The Archdiocese is sponsoring retreats for Young Adults and High School students. The bulletin contains further information.

13. Next Sunday our Knights of Columbus will offer a delicious Pancake and French Toast Breakfast. Bring the whole family after morning Mass. The proceeds will be used to sponsor the Knights' Halloween Party at Holy Family School.

14. Scrip is for sale after Sunday morning Masses. You can use Scrip at Hollywood Video, Denny's, Domino's Pizza, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Safeway, QFC, Fred Meyer and other businesses. It costs you nothing more and is a great way to support our school and parish.
