Announcements (May 6, 2001)

1. Our two-bit collection this Sunday is for our School Renovation Project. Please give generously so we can move forward with the necessary seismic work on our school.

2. Thank you for your contributions to last week's two-bit collection for Catholic Answers. $502 were given to assist this work of evangelization.

3. This Sunday is Commitment Sunday for the Annual Catholic Appeal. Please support the Archdiocese and your parish by placing your pledge envelope in the collection or drop it by the rectory this week.

4. There is a Bible Study for high school students and young adults on Sunday evenings, 7 p.m. in the Ailbe House. More details & phone numbers in bulletin.

5. U.F.O (Ubiquitous Fifties Operation) will be presented this Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the play will go to our School Renovation Program.

6. Our Children's Formation program and RCIC continue this month. Please see the bulletin for details. RCIA for adults and older teens meets Thursday evening in the Ailbe House Library.

7. Our parish liturgy commission meets this Friday at 6 p.m.

8. We need volunteers willing to give one hour a week for Eucharistic Adoration. Please call Joe, Betty or Greg whose numbers are in the bulletin.

9. Next Sunday our Knights of Columbus will offer a special Mother's Day breakfast. Show mom how much you appreciate and support our Knights.

10. The Archdiocesan Young Adult Conference will take place May 18-20. For more information see the notice in the bulletin.

11. Sacred Heart Radio of Seattle offers coverage of the pope's visit to Greece and Damascus. Tune your radio to 1050 AM.

12. Copies of National Catholic Register are available at the entrances of the Church. The presence of Catholic literature in your home can help other family members.

13. Scrip is for sale after Mass. Scrip can be ordered for use at various stores in our area.
