First Thursday Confessions: This Thursday (June 1) from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. You are invited to take advantage of this Jubilee Year opportunity to receive Jesusí forgiveness and healing in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Sacrament may be received either anonymously (behind a screen) or face-to-face in the Reconciliation Room (northeast corner of church, off Roxbury St.). If it has been a while since your last confession, simply mention that to the priest and he will help you through the process. Also the priest can assist if you need some help in examining your conscience. There are cards available in the back of the church which indicate the procedure for confession as well as a brief examination of conscience. As Jesus said, "Do not be afraid." There is a wonderful peace and healing which comes from the Sacrament of Confession.
The Northwest Catholic Family Education Conference will take place this Friday and Saturday at 11030 E. Marginal Way. Brochures are available in the back of the church.
At our 11 a.m. Mass next Sunday (June 4) we will have a special service for our eighth grade graduates from Holy Family School. You are cordially invited to attend this Mass and to pray for our young people at this time of transition in their lives.
