Announcements (May 25, 2003)

1. Our two-bit collection this Sunday will be for purchase of the lot. Thank you for your donations last weekend. $503 were donated in the English Masses. On the bulletin boards, you will see a list of those who pledged for the lot. Please make sure your name is on the list. If there is any error, please notify our parish office.

2. As you can see in the bulletin, we have received 188 pledges for the Annual Catholic Appeal, totalling $28,504. We are still a long way from our parish goal of $70,000. This will enable us to meet our archdiocesan goal of $54,908 and receive a $15 thousand rebate which we will use toward the purchase of the property on the south end of the main parking lot. If you have not yet filled out your pledge envelope, please do so this week. Drop it by the rectory or place it in next Sunday's collection.

3. Holy Family Parish will again this summer sponsor a Bible Camp for children ages 6-12. There will be two sessions. Please see the bulletin for more information and the phone number of Mary Wells.

4. Also from July 14-18, we will have a retreat on Shaw Island for teens 13-15 years old. Brochures for the youth retreat and for the Summer Bible Camp are available at the church entrances.

5. We have begun the procurement drive for next year's School Auction. Please see the bulletin for how you can help.

6. This Sunday, at 5 p.m., we will observe the Flores de Mayo, flower offering at 5 p.m. All children and their families are invited to participate in this event. It will be followed by Mass in Tagalog at 6 p.m. See Fr. Ramon for more information.
