Announcements (February 18, 2001)

1. Our two-bit collection this Sunday is for our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your donations will enable us to help the needy right in our own neighborhood.

2. Thank you for your donations last weekend for San Miguel Parish in Ilave, Peru. Your response to Fr. Narciso's appeal was truly heartwarming. In the English Masses $2,880 were given. This along with the donations in the Spanish Masses enabled us to send a total of $3697 for their work among the poor in the Andes region of Peru..

3. This summer we hope to install the glass canopy above our school porch and to pin the bricks which are in danger of falling. We need your help to do this work. If you have not yet done so, please consider making a donation or pledge to this project.

4. Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J., will be at Bellevue Community College, Saturday, February 24, to speak about his pro-life book, Healing the Culture. The talk, along with book signing and reception will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Please plan on attending.

5. This week Eucharistic Adoration will take place in the church while the Ailbe House chapel is being worked on. We hope to have round the clock adoration beginning during Lent. If you have signed up to participate in Eucharistic Adoration please remain in the church for a brief moment after Mass. An important information packet will be handed out.

6. Sacred Heart Radio of Seattle is now on the air 24 hours a day. If you have not yet done so, please tune your AM radio to 1050 for excellent Catholic programing.

7. Scrip is for sale after Mass. Last year Scrip netted several thousand dollars for our school and parish. By using scrip for your purchases of gasoline, food, etc. you help Holy Family - at no additional cost to yourself.
