Announcements (April 22, 2001)

1. Our two-bit collection this Sunday is for our parish AIDS Ministry. Your contributions will assist those reaching out to individuals and families affect that disease.

2. Thank you for your contributions to last week's two-bit collection for our School Renovation Program. $2093 were given to enable us to advance with the seismic work on the outside and inside of our school.

3. Thank you for your Easter Sacrificial Giving. $16,948 were given in the first collections last weekend. We need your support to maintain and strengthen our parish programs. This past week envelope packets were mailed out. We are using a new company with a considerable saving to the parish. If you did not receive an envelope packet, please notify the parish at 767-6220 - or drop a note in the collection or at the rectory office.

4. Congratulations to the elect and candidates received into the Church at the Easter Vigils. Almost 70 new members were received during the English and Spanish language vigils. If you know someone interested in becoming a Catholic, please have them call the parish rectory for more information about upcoming classes.

5. U.F.O (Ubiquitous Fifties Operation) will be presented April 27, 28 and 29. Proceeds from the play will go to our School Renovation Program. Please see the flier bulletin for more information. (Tickets for sale after Mass.)

6. Evenings for the Engaged will begin next Sunday, 4 -6 p.m. in the rectory. If you are planning on getting married in the summer or fall, please call the rectory to register.

7. Dr, Jan Hemstad and his wife Darcy Hemstad, R.N., will offer introduction ot the Billings Method of Natural Family Planning and chart reviews next Saturday, 10 a.m. in the rectory.

8. There is a Bible Study for high school students and young adults on Sunday evenings, 7 p.m. in the Ailbe House. More details & phone numbers in bulletin.

9. This week all registered parishioners will receive a letter from Archbishop Brunett concerning the Annual Catholic Appeal. Please read it carefully. Next Sunday, a married couple from Holy Family will give a testimony regarding support of parish and archdiocese.

10. Our Knights of Columbus are hosting a potluck dinner on Monday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ailbe House. Pennies (and other coins) will be received and counted to support the seminarian education fund.

11. Sacred Heart Radio of Seattle has excellent programs to help understand and defend your Catholic faith. Tune your radio to 1050 AM.

12. Copies of National Catholic Register are available at the entrances of the Church. If you like it, consider subscribing.

13. Scrip is for sale after Mass. Scrip can be ordered for use at various stores in our area.
