Announcements (March 12, 2006)

1. Our two-bit collection is for St. Vincent de Paul. Your donations will help the needy in our own parish neighborhoods. Please help our St. Vincent de Paul members continue their excellent work.

2. I would like to now introduce Dominic Parmantier who will give a presentation regarding our Capital Campaign. He is a member of parish finance council and Knights of Columbus. Please warmly welcome Dominic…

3. In the vestibule is a table for new parishioners to sign up. We will have a reception for new parishioners next Sunday after the 11 a.m. Mass which will include further information on the Capital Campaign.

4. This Sunday morning our Knights of Columbus invite you to join them for a delicious pancake, French toast and sausage breakfast. For the low cost of $4 you will support the Knights in their work. Proceeds from this Sunday’s breakfast will go toward the Knights of Columbus Scholarship for a Holy Family student.

5. Next Saturday we have our annual Lenten Cathedral Walk. Pilgrims will leave from Holy Family Church at 6:30 a.m. and will have celebration of Mass at 11 a.m. in the Lady Chapel of the Cathedral. All are welcome.

6. This Sunday at 5 p.m. KING 5 will have a program on the issue of freedom of conscience for pharmacists regarding “emergency contraception.” Beside the information in the bulletin, you will find on the bulletin board a letter from Dr. Shane Macaulay explaining what is at stake. Dr. Macaulay will be interviewed on the television program, today at 5 p.m.

7. On the Fridays of Lent, St. Martha’s Sodality offers a wonderful soup and bread meal. Join your fellow parishioners at 5:30 p.m. and attend the Stations of the Cross at 6 p.m. Also please notice the formation of a Prayer Group for Women. You can find this notice and much other important information in your Sunday bulletin.
